1AT70 and 1AT880 operated from Kalymnos island, north of Kos island, Dodecanese, on 12^th of April, 2012.

We made 407 QSOs in 7 hours of transmissions, with 22 DXCC, mostly in Europe, with Argentina and Puerto Rico as notable exceptions.

A long-lasting skip with British Isles made possible a huge number of QSOs with that area:

26 - England: 117 QSOs

29 - Ireland: 27 QSOs

163 - Wales: 14 QSOs

108 - Scotland: 13 QSOs

68 - Northern Ireland: 11 QSOs

Skip was also good to Scandinavia, resulting in 33 QSOs with those DXCC.

Our QTH was Myrtes, on West coast of the island, facing the islet of Telendos.

Our path was blocked on the East side by high walls, a perfect playground for freeclimbers, with its caves and vertical overhangings.

 Kalymnos island is well renowed among freeclimbers around the world.

We were guests of Andonis, who has a restaurant and few rooms to rent.
