New Event: Yagi100 ! - Yagi100 ~ eng

Dear friends,

in 2026 we will proudly commemorate the 100th anniversary of the YAGI antenna's invention developed by Professor Hidetsugu Yagi and his associate Shintaro Uda in 1926: A century mark is always a remarkable occasion!

We're all familiar with Yagi antenna, so why not enjoy ourselves together on the 11m? as the new season begins we’ll be able to capitalize on the final opportunities for long distance propagation.

The G.R.I. ALFA TANGO is creating a worldwide event that will not be a contest but will have rules similar to those of Aldo's Memorial: it will be a unique and unrepeatable event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Yagi antenna!

Would you like to activate at the end of march 2026 for just 48 hours and celebrate together?

To participate as activators of the Yagi100 event it will be necessary to use exclusively a Yagi antenna (two elements up) during the event to give the maximum meaning to the celebration.

Applications will be reviewed by President 1AT010 Roberto in person.
