This page explains what personal data the Alfa Tango website collects, why, who else sees it and what your rights are.
1. Data controller
GRUPPO RADIO ITALIA ALFA TANGO - ASSOCIAZIONE DI PROMOZIONE SOCIALE
Recinto Santo Spirito Sud, 10 - 14100 Asti (AT), Italy
Tax code 92000990058
For any request about your data, write to AT Headquarters through the contacts section.
2. What we collect
- If you have an account: callsign, name, email address, password, membership year and class, the groups of your account, the date you registered and of your last visit. Accounts from the previous alfatango.org website were transferred here with the same data.
- When you sign in: the session, the remember me token if you choose it and, for a short time, failed sign-in attempts with their IP address.
- When you send a form: what you wrote, the date, your account if you were signed in, and the IP address. Attachments go to the recipient of the form and are not kept on the site.
- In the reserved area and the QSL service: your AT user record and, for QSL cards, the contacts recorded in the logs, your requests and your shipping details.
- Server records: page requested, date and time, IP address, browser.
The contacts page publishes the name, role and contact details of the people who hold a position in the association. If you appear there and want your details corrected or removed, write to AT Headquarters.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the services you ask for - your account, the forms, the reserved area, the QSL service. Without this data those services cannot be provided.
- To protect the site from abuse and to diagnose faults, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
- To publish the contacts of the people who hold a position, on the basis of the association's legitimate interest in being reachable.
- With your consent, for statistics and for videos from other websites. You can withdraw it at any time (section 8).
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not profile you.
4. Who else sees it
- The person in the association a form is addressed to, and the people who run the reserved area and the QSL service.
- ima.alfatango.org, an application of the association, for the IMA activators registration.
- The association's mailing lists (lists.alfatango.it, lists.alfatango.org), if you subscribe to the [BdS] or [News] bulletins.
- Aruba S.p.A., which provides hosting and email on our behalf.
- PayPal, if you pay for a QSL card: you enter your payment details with them and we never see them; we receive the confirmation and the details needed to record it.
- Google (reCAPTCHA), on the sign-in pages and the forms, to tell people from automated programs.
- YouTube and Vimeo, only if you switch on the Videos box.
PayPal, Google, YouTube and Vimeo handle the data under their own privacy policies; Google, YouTube and Vimeo are based outside the European Union.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: for as long as the account exists (section 6).
- Sign-in tokens: until they expire.
- Your cookie choice: six months.
- Form submissions: for as long as needed to handle the request, and then for the association's records.
- Reserved area and QSL service: for as long as the service and the law require.
- Server records: for as long as needed to keep the site secure and working.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from your profile page. Your name, email address and password are erased and cannot be recovered. Only the callsign remains, with the membership year and class: it is a radio identity assigned by the association, and it stays reserved so that nobody else can use it.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive it in a portable form; you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and withdraw a consent you gave. Much of this you can do from your profile; for the rest, write to AT Headquarters (section 1).
You can also complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in. In Italy it is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Cookies
The site uses the technical cookies it needs in order to work and asks for your consent before loading anything else. The list is in the cookie policy, and you can change your choice at any time.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new text appears here with the new date at the top.
